To make this delicious Italian dish, start by cooking the gnocchi according to package directions. You’ll want to set aside a few teaspoons of the water the gnocchi was cooked in.

Cut the grape tomatoes in half.

Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat and add sliced garlic to the pan. Cook until the garlic is soft.


Add the cut tomatoes to the pan. Cook the tomatoes and garlic together for a minute, stirring often.

Add gnocchi, cream cheese, salt and pepper to the pan. Stir and cook the mixture until melted. Remember that gnocchi water you set aside before? Add a teaspoon of it to the pan and stir.

Tear the basil and add it to the pan with the grated Parmesan cheese.

  • 1 lb gnocchi
  • 1 pint grape tomatoes
  • 4 oz block cream cheese 1/2 block
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Handful basil
  • ¼ cup Grated parmesan
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil
