Fixings 

  • For the filling: 
  • ½ pound crude shrimp, stripped, de-veined and tapped dry 
  • 1 teaspoon clam sauce 
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper 
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil 
  • ¼ teaspoon salt 
  • 1 teaspoon sugar 
  • ½ teaspoon minced ginger 
  • ¼ glass finely cleaved bamboo shoots 
  • For the mixture: 
  • 1 glass wheat starch 
  • ½ glass cornstarch (or custard starch) 
  • 1¼ glasses bubbling water (add an extra 1 to 2 teaspoons in dryer atmospheres) 
  • 3 teaspoons grease (or oil) 



Guidelines 

  1. For the filling: 
  2. Blend everything (aside from the bamboo) together; whip in one course for a couple of minutes until the blend begins to look sticky. Presently include the cleaved bamboo shoots, and combine everything. Spread and refrigerate while setting up the mixture.
