2 tsp. maple syrup if not on Whole30

crisply split dark pepper

8 dill pickles cuts

2 1/4″- thick cuts ready tomato

Gear Required

How to Make:

  1. Make the sauce: join mayonnaise, ketchup, dill relish, coconut aminos, maple syrup (if not on Whole30), and vinegar in little bowl. Mix to join and chill while you keep cooking.
  2. Warmth 2 teaspoons avocado oil in a medium skillet (ideally non-stick) over medium-high warmth until oil is gleaming. Include onions and 3/4 teaspoon salt. Diminish warmth to medium-low, and cook, blending sporadically until onions are sautéed, around 15 minutes. When onions are cooked, they will begin to sizzle and look dry. Add 1 tablespoon water to skillet and blend, cooking until water dissipates and onions start sizzling once more. Rehash the procedure with 1 tablespoon water until onions are dim dark colored and amazingly caramelized, around multiple times, a sum of around 30 minutes. Exchange to a bowl and let cool.
  3. Make the lettuce “buns”: cut off the stem of the head of ice shelf lettuce, around 1/2-3/4″. Cut into fourths: down the inside, at that point cut every half fifty-fifty to make wedges. Take out the center 2/3 of every ice sheet wedge, so it leaves only a 3/4″ thick lettuce “bun”. Put aside.
  4. Shape ground hamburger into four 2-ounce patties that are extremely dainty and exceptionally wide, around 1/4″ thick and no less than 4″ wide. Season patties with a lot of salt and pepper. Warmth remaining 1 teaspoon avocado oil to a huge cast-iron skillet over medium-high warmth; twirl oil around the container to coat with a slim layer. At the point when oil is exceptionally, extremely hot, include burger patties. Spread 1 tablespoon mustard on the best, crude side. Cook patties, without moving, until they’re great sautéed and somewhat hard on the base, around 2-3 minutes. Flip patties so mustard side is down and cook 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  5. Set up your burgers: for every burger, spread about insufficient 1 tablespoon of creature sauce onto within one lettuce “buns”. Top with 2 pickles, at that point one cut tomato. Top with a burger patty and around 1 tablespoon caramelized onions, in addition to more on the off chance that you like. Top with another burger patty and another 1 tablespoon caramelized onions. Top with another sparse 1 tablespoon of sauce then the last lettuce bun. Enclose by material paper or aluminum foil and eat up!
